International Welcome Event at CHIO Aachen
Visit of our partner university Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT)
It was an honor and a great pleasure for us to welcome a delegation from our Chinese partner university Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT) to RWTH International Academy last Friday.
Together with Prof. Bernd Markert and Dr. Songyun Ma from the Institute of General Mechanics (IAM), our Managing Director Dr. Helmut Dinger praised the already implemented projects between our institutions and discussed further opportunities to deepen our successful collaboration in the coming years.
Strengthening our educational cooperation through joint projects and programs
RWTH International Academy and CIT have been cooperating in various educational programs since the foundation of our China Office. In 2022, 60 students participated in the online course “Artificial Intelligence in Mechanics and Engineering”, which we offer together with the IAM. In 2023, the course was successfully held again with 60 students.
We are especially pleased to welcome the first CIT students on site this August. As participants of our RWTH 3+1+2-Programms, the students will spend nine months in Aachen. In addition to exciting modules which will optimally prepare them for their Master’s studies at RWTH Aachen University, the students will also complete an internship at the IAM in order to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and to get to know the daily scientific work routine.
We thank all participants for the warm and productive exchange and look forward to many exciting projects that we will realize together in the future!
