The first class of our M.Sc. Medical Data Science celebrates their graduation

Let's celebrate! Last Friday, the first class of our part-time M. Sc. Medical Data Science celebrated their successful graduation.

The ceremony was rounded off by an exciting presentation by Prof. Dr. André Scherag (Director: Institute of Medical Statistics, Computer and Data Sciences, university hospital Jena), who shared insights into the current status and further development in the research field of Medical Data Science.

Also in this medical area, the question arises whether various forms of artificial intelligence (AI) will take over the work of Medical Data Scientists in the future. We asked ChatGPT right away, and the chatbot gave a clear answer: human interpretation and expertise remains the key factor for data analysis success.

We are proud to educate new experts in this field and congratulate all graduates on completing their studies! We are looking forward to a great future in the field of Medical Data Science.
