BIM Talent Program – study trip to Viega World

Our BIM Talent Program is in full progress! After having already been at the Hilti Store in Aachen in February, we were invited yesterday to visit the Viega World in Attendorn together with our talents from Viega GmbH & Co. KG and Hilti Deutschland AG. Thank you for having us and welcoming us kindly.

The Viega World was only opened in January 2023 and counts as one of the most innovative and sustainable seminar centres of its sector, placed in Viega's head office's city Attendorn. Very special is the fact that the building itself was constructed with the help of a 3D-model, a digital twin, and therefore is the show piece for digital building.

Viega has worked together with the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building of RWTH Aachen University under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph van Treeck.

For their first time the participants of the program had the opportunity to experience working with Building Information Modeling in direct application. Many thanks to all involved for this successful study trip, that our talents enjoyed very much!
