Simulate mechatronic motion systems, i.e. mechanics, sensors, drives and controls. You will gain basic simulation knowledge, be able to use MathWorks Simulink and structure simulation models. In addition, you will be able to design and optimize systems using simulations.
Course Content
▶ Model-based design of a system with motor, mechanics, sensors and control system
▶ Structuring of simulation models
▶ Practical case studies for simulation skills
▶ Interactive exercises with Simulink
Group of Participants
You are a developer or engineer in the field of mechanical engineering with a basic knowledge in programming and mechanics. Basic knowledge of Matlab or Simulink is useful, but not a prerequisite.
Motivation
The modeling of technical systems offers many advantages. Good simulation models accelerate development and enable system design without existing hardware. They can also be used during operation for control or process monitoring. The structuring possibilities of Simulink serve the decentralized development of individual modules in different departments.
Methodology
On two days of attendance, the presented theory is put into direct use by the participants. By changing lectures and interactive application exercises, you will learn step by step how to simulate a mechatronic system.
