The rewards for hard work: Scholarship Award Ceremony 2023

To honor great ideas, outstanding academic achievement and commitment to society, RWTH International Academy offers three scholarships to students enrolled in one of our Master’s Degree Programs in Engineering and Humanities: the Best of Class Award, the Student Project Grant and the Social Responsibility Award.

Last year’s winners were officially presented with their award certificates by Prof. Bernd Markert, Prof. Thomas Bergs, and Sophie Charlotte Keunecke of IGMR during our Scholarship Award Ceremony 2023.

Honoring outstanding students with the 10th Annual Best of Class Award

As the longest running award offered by RWTH International Academy, the Best of Class Award – now in its 10th year – was presented to 7 students who who excelled in their academic studies.

New Social Responsibility Award honors social and environmental engagement

Our new Social Responsibility Award recognizes the social and environmental commitment of our students outside the academic context. In its very first application period, it received 14 applications, two students were selected based on their social contribution and application: Alessandro Croce for his engagement at Leo Club Soranno and Vasu Sharma for his volunteer work at the Student Visitation Service of the Evangelical Student Community.

M.Sc. Robotic Systems Engineering students win Student Project Grant 2022

The winning project of the Student Project Grant 2022 was submitted by three students of the M.Sc. Robotic Systems Engineering. Ranjit Santhanaraman, Parthan Manisekaran and Anujoy Chakraborty, as well as their team member Kapil Dev Kumar presented their project “Deep Neural Network for Solar Soiling Estimation using Aerial Vehicles” before receiving their award certificate.
