Manager Training Programme – Fit for Partnership with Germany
A warm welcome to everyone attending the manager training programme “Fit for Partnership with Germany” by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the German association for International Cooperation (GIZ)!
In two exciting and successful days, we were finally able to get to know our current group focusing on "Green Technology" in person. The introductory workshop days took place at the premises of our Indian partner FICCI in New Delhi to start the upcoming journey. We are looking forward to the next months with our participants and the enriching exchange.
Hands-on Programme for Professionals and Managers
On behalf of the GIZ, we implement the Manager Training Programme "Fit for Partnership with Germany" initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
As part of the programme, experienced experts and managers from SMEs in various sectors of one of the partner countries (currently India, topic: Green Technologies) are provided with professional training on how to establish international cooperation and business contacts. According to "Fit for Partnership with Germany", the managers get a broad insight into Germany as a business location. The aim of the programme is to boost foreign trade through international business cooperations and to support small and medium-sized enterprises on both sides.
More than 16,000 managers from 21 partner countries have already successfully participated in the sector-specific training courses.
Sustainable cooperation between German companies & SMEs from partner countries
The programme includes several modules and offers a visit to Germany for two weeks, allowing the participants to apply their acquired knowledge in real-life business situations. In addition, the participants visit companies in order to gain a deeper insight into the operation of German entrepreneurs.
According to the current country and topic focus, the participants will learn about the following aspects:
- Importance of climate protection in companies and the opportunities + risks of transformation
- Business towards climate neutrality
- Energy-related CO2 accounting in companies and the corporate carbon footprint
- Concepts and measures for optimising CO2 efficiency in companies
- Balancing the unavoidable CO2 emissions
We are looking forward to welcoming the whole group to Germany in a few weeks and presenting cooperation opportunities and renowned companies!
