A successful start to the Equestrian Stable Management Certificate Program!

Last week, after an intensive preparation period over the past few months, the Equestrian Stable Management Certificate Program has finally started with the first group of participants!

International Welcome Event at CHIO Aachen

For the Welcome Event, the participants traveled to Aachen from their various home countries, including Italy, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Thailand, to celebrate the kick-off of the program together at the CHIO Aachen in the Soers, to get to know each other and to start an exciting and instructive year full of anticipation.

The program at a glance

The Equestrian Stable Management Certificate Program, which is a cooperative project between CHIO Aachen CAMPUS and RWTH International Academy, is an interactive, practice-oriented online program that enables participants from two tracks with different focuses to develop their professional skills in the field of managing an equestrian sport stable.

Preparation for the coming year

After an initial introduction and warm welcome speeches by the program managers, partner companies and lecturers, the participants were given a tour of the CHIO grounds and got an exciting insight into the facilities. During lunch the participants had the opportunity to network.

The afternoon continued with an exciting workshop on time and self management to prepare the participants for an intensive and instructive year. At the end of the day we had dinner together in the city center of Aachen.

Practical insights: Visit to the renowned Hetzel Horses stable

The next day we invited the participants to visit Holger Hetzel's top-class stables in Goch. Holger Hetzel's team gave us an exciting insight into their equestrian business.

We would like to thank everyone who made the Welcome Event such a great event and wish all participants a good start into the program and a great, exciting and instructive time!
