Academic Content | Summer School

Our Summer Schools are uniquely designed for international students who want to gain insight into one of Germany’s Universities of Excellence. Program Outline | Online Course

The Online Course covers the fundamentals of robotics, information theory and communication systems. It features the use of a robot education cell as well as practical examples of solving problems in modern communication technology. You learn about kinematic and dynamic behavior of robotic systems and also define and manage technical requirements.

Academic Staff | Summer School 2021

The Institute of Mechanism Theory, Machine Dynamics and Robotics (IGMR), the research group ISEK and the RoboScope as part of the Institute for Information Management in Mechanical Engineering (IMA) conduct the academic content. Research areas include mechanism theory and kinematics, machine dynamics and vibration technology, robotics and mechatronics, and information theory and communication systems.

The contents of the program may change. RWTH International Academy reserves the right to make changes to the organization, the staffing or the running of a program that have no major effect on the overall character of the program.

  • completed your 1st/2nd year of studies
  • study a degree related to our program
  • are proficient in the English language

Desirable previous knowledge for this course:
Desirable is basic knowledge in technical mechanics, automation technology, robotics, mechatronics or computer science.

We are glad to announce that we award scholarships for selected programs every year. Regarding our Summer Schools in 2022, applications will be accepted from December onwards.
