The trainers employed at the Chair of Production Metrology and Quality Management of the Machine Tool Laboratory WZL at RWTH Aachen University are qualified Six Sigma Black Belts. They will teach you the philosophy as well as the tools needed to implement sustainable quality management. The acquired knowledge is deepened by means of practice-oriented individual and group exercises.
A well-known and often used toolbox of quality management is Six Sigma. The DMAIC cycle used here provides a framework for action for the systematic planning and effective execution of sustainable improvement projects. The methods used make it possible to identify the core causes in difficult and complex process problems and to develop effective solutions through sound statistical analyses. This also supports error prevention in the product development and product manufacturing process. The interaction of consistent customer orientation and measurable success is the success factor for planning and implementing sustainable optimization in companies.

The entry-level Six Sigma Yellow Belt seminar serves as the first step in Six Sigma training to become an expert in process optimization and scrap reduction based on statistical and analytical methods. It helps organizations adopt a disciplined and data-driven approach and methodology to reduce defects.

RWTH Certificate Course Quality Management Expert

The Quality Management Expert certificate course offers an all-round view within quality management. In addition to Six Sigma, other methods, concepts and tools are taught. The course includes a Six Sigma Yellow Belt qualification.

RWTH Certificate Curses Six Sigma Green Belt | Green Belt Hybrid

The Six Sigma Green Belt certificate course, which is also offered as a hybrid in blended learning format, focuses along the DMAIC cycle on fundamental competencies for process improvement. This systematic approach forms a continuous loop that can be used to identify and quantify the relevant improvement measures. With the anchored methods, companies are enabled to identify core causes for process problems and to develop solutions for these problems based on systematic analyses.

To establish and standardize process improvements, the Six Sigma Black Belt advanced course expands the Green Belt courses along the DMAIC phase model to include techniques for managing project teams, in-depth statistical knowledge and specific analysis tools. Through approaches to establishing Six Sigma in the organization, the foundations are laid to actively participate as a Black Belt in the coordination and further development of Six Sigma activities in the company.
