Contents of the Training
In this hands-on training, you will learn the five phases of the DMAIC cycle in a structured and easy-to-understand way. The training begins with the fundamentals of process management to establish a shared understanding of processes and lay the foundation for improvements. On the second day, the focus shifts to Lean Management, where key principles are taught using a realistic case study. On the third day, the acquired knowledge is brought together and complemented by proven tools from Lean Management and Six Sigma.

The DMAIC cycle is a systematic, data-driven methodology derived from the Six Sigma approach for continuous process improvement. It consists of five phases—Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control—each representing a structured step toward optimizing existing business processes. Because the cycle is iterative, organizations can regularly review and refine their processes as needed. This structured approach enables teams to analyze problems effectively, streamline operations, and achieve lasting improvements in quality and performance.

Start your learning experience with our Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. If you book the advanced course “Lean Six Sigma Green Belt”, you will receive a 10% refund of the costs of the Lean Six Sigma Starter Course.
Here you will deepen the knowledge you have already gained from your professional practice and the previous knowledge from the Yellow Belt in your own improvement project in two modules of 4 days each. Between the two training blocks, you will carry out an improvement project in your company using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. You will present the corresponding project idea in the first training block. In the second block, you will present your results.
