Skill building for success – ROS course in strong collaboration with UR & IGMR

Skill building for success!

We once again successfully offered our popular "ROS (Robot Operating System) Skill-Building Course" to international students in our English-taught Master's Degree Programs in Engineering – hands-on, compact, and future-oriented.

This was made possible through our strong collaboration with Universal Robots (UR), from Denmark, and the Institute of Mechanism Theory, Machine Dynamics, and Robotics (IGMR), at RWTH Aachen University.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved:

  • Prof. Dr. Burkhard Corves & Prof. Dr. Hüsing Mathias for their academic leadership as well as Yicheng Yang & Markus Schmitz
  • Sebastian Schmitz & Sofia Tama Thøgersen from UR

Why ROS?

ROS is a key technology in modern robotics, from research labs to industrial automation. It enables the modular and scalable development of robotic systems, preparing our students to innovate in this rapidly evolving field.

By learning to program and control robots with ROS, our students develop future-proof skills that are in high demand across industries.

Are you a robotics company looking to connect with the next generation of engineers? Would you like to give our students hands-on experience with your robotic systems during their studies and introduce them to your technology early on?

Let's collaborate! Together, we can bridge the gap between academic training and industrial practice.
