RWTH BIM Talent Program enters the third round!
Our RWTH BIM Talent Program has entered its third round with a successful event!
Last week we welcomed the talents of the new cohort with a varied event where we visited exciting locations related to the program.
The event kicked off with opening speeches by Dr. Helmut Dinger - Managing Director and Dr. Veronica Grüntzig - Program Manager of RWTH International Academy and Prof. Dr. Christoph van Treeck from the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D) at RWTH Aachen University.
This was followed by the onboarding from the representatives of the partner companies Hilti Deutschland AG and Viega GmbH & Co. KG.
Afterwards, we visited the "Viega Cube", the E3D institute's testing facility for potable water management, which serves as a research platform for the development of energy-efficient products. Using a tablet PC, we were able to take a look behind the scenes and experience the benefits of BIM technology first hand.
The eventful day ended at the Hilti store in Aachen with practical demonstrations in the areas of BIM, optics, drilling and rail systems. Our talents tested the various stations with enthusiasm and experienced the interaction between the digital and analog worlds of construction.
Even our talents from previous groups joined us on this day to welcome the new talents and share their insights with them.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their great commitment in organizing this successful day and are looking forward to the time ahead with our new talents!
