Sustainable Energy Technology

This Summer School introduces the mathematical and physical basics of building energy performance modeling and simulation, implementation of models using computer-based numerical methods, computer algebra systems and object-oriented modeling language Modelica.

The Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D), and the E.ON Energy Research Center - Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate of the RWTH Aachen University and the Institute of Energy and Climate Research Fundamental Electrochemistry (IEK-9) of the Research Center Jülich are responsible for the academic content of the „Sustainable Energy Technology“ Summer School and conduct the lectures, tutorials and laboratory classes of the program.
