Digital Challenges and Solutions

Our world of work has changed rapidly within the last few decades. Digital equipment has entered nearly every job (and private) setting. Digitalization opens up completely new possibilities of information processing, of flexibility, of faster and high-quality production, of interconnectedness of individuals and process data in our globalized world. However, digitalization also challenges our work environment by potentially introducing altered physical and mental demands in human-machine interactions, information overload, and delimitation of work and private life requiring another form of self-regulation and awareness.

The summer school “Digital Challenges and Solutions” will enhance your competencies in understanding and handling digital work environments effectively and provides tools and approaches towards a health-oriented and efficient job design. The methods will help you to gain new ideas for your future study or work setting and those of your employees.
