A down payment of EUR 1,000 is to be paid with your application. This payment will be returned to unsuccessful applicants. For successful applicants the fee is non-refundable but will be credited in full towards to the study fees. The remaining course fees will be invoiced in four equal installments for payment throughout the course. The course fees are not subject to German VAT (§ 4 Nr. 21 a) bb) UStG). Payment should be made by bank transfer to the account nominated by RWTH International Academy. The participant is liable for all bank fees incurred.
The regular course fee is EUR 5,500 per semester (EUR 5,250 for employees in the public sector) plus a EUR 1,000 registration fee.
The fees do not include accommodation and travel costs, but do include the whole documentation and catering during the presence days.

The semester course fee amounts to EUR 5,000 per semester (EUR 4,750 for employees in the public sector) for applications received by April, 30.
Scholarship Opportunities for Applicants
There are several scholarship opportunities available for M. Sc. Laboratory Animal Science at RWTH Aachen University. You should start looking for an appropriate scholarship as soon as possible. Please find some institutions offering scholarships for veterinarians listed below.
ICLAS The ICLAS (International Council for Laboratory Animal Science) program offers scholarships to enable veterinarians who live in areas without access to training and who lack the necessary funds to complete training programs.
Deadline for applications is 15th of December 2017.
LAL Individual scientists, who wish to attend courses in laboratory animal science and welfare, can apply for bursaries from LAL (Laboratory Animals Limited).
Deadlines for applications are 31st of March and 30th of September annually.
LAMA The LAMA (Laboratory Animal Management Association) Foundation Scholarship fund is used to provide qualified applicants with financial assistance. These funds may be used for tuition to attend accredited universities, colleges or vocational trade Schools.
