Business Unit Manager
Overall coordination of our M.Sc. degree programs.
When I am not in the office juggling to coordinate our Master's programs portfolio you would most likely find me in a BodyCombat class juggling to coordinate jabs, hooks and kicks or the beat, pace and resistance of an RPM ride.
I have lived and worked in South Africa and doing a road trip across Namibia is next on my list - when is the semester break again?
I'd love to learn Swedish, but somehow the (non-existent) nearby course offerings are a bit of an obstacle for me. Oh well, I guess I can start with learning Dutch first - which should be more practical when you live on the three border triangle anyways.

M.Sc. CAME (CAME@academy.rwth-aachen.de)
Before I joined RWTH International Academy, I was an active member of the Student Union of RWTH Aachen University. As the Project Leader of Political Education and Publications, I organized talks and discussion panels on current political topics for RWTH students. It was a joy to see students being so interested in social and political issues.
If you don't find me in my office, you would probably see me at Königshügel in Aachen. In my free time, I enjoy doing sports, e.g. table tennis, badminton, classical ballet, beach volleyball, fitness with music, thaibo, you name it!
My biggest passion is food culture. I wrote a 120-page-bachelor thesis on the topic "The Globalization and Localization of Chocolate in Asia". Landing in Aachen must have been a destiny for me as the Lindt factory is also located here!
Originally, I am from Greece but since I was born and raised in Bavaria, I feel at home both near the sea and the mountains. Because of my immigration background I have three citizenships. You’ll never guess the third one.
I love Japan - the country, the culture, the food – and I have been learning Japanese for some time now. In 2009 I travelled to Augsburg’s twin cities Amagasaki and Nagahama as a member of a youth delegation and have been wanting to visit the country again ever since. For several years during my studies at Augsburg University I also was an active member of the German-Japanese Student Choir.
My guilty pleasure is cheese and Netflix. In this order. But not necessarily in this combination.
Travelling through England, listening to music or playing music myself always recharges my batteries.
I’m a huge animal lover and love spending time in nature – preferably at the sea.
To destress I love to do sports such as classical ballet or meet up with friends. With them I also like to discuss ethics, politics, and socially relevant topics.”

I will advise you regarding master thesis regulations, visa matters or general questions.
As a former student at RWTH Aachen University and also as a „citizen of Aachen“ I can certainly give you one or two good tips. My roots are in Turkey and therefore I am passionate in cooking turkish food or watch soccer games of my favorite club: Galatasaray Istanbul. But most of all, I love to spend time with my family and friends.

Ever since I was a child I was amazed by technology, which naturally led to me playing video games as well. After work, I love to tinker with computers and other electronic devices. Sometimes you can maybe even witness me sitting in one of the local parks with an old Nintendo Gameboy in my hands. Other than that, I also spend my free time drawing, learning Mandarin, and trying to play some songs on my Kalimba.
Due to my hobbies, I formed friendships with people from all over the world. Sometimes, I also pay them a visit for some days. In the future, I want to travel to many more places and learn about the local culture, language and, of course, the food.
As a native of Aachen I love and live this city (and of course I work here). On weekends you can find me in the old town in one of the many cafes or bars, where I meet friends and recharge my batteries. Not seldom such nice days end in a restaurant, because I love love love good food. I am looking forward to showing the most beautiful places in Aachen to our students, of which I get to know many very early in one of our preparatory courses I manage. Apart from that I love cosiness and often I can be found wrapped in a blanket, with a teacup in my hand and a good book. So if you have a good book suggestion, I would be happy to trade it for a restaurant tip.

As a former student at RWTH Aachen University I know my way around Aachen and the beautiful main campus in the city center. There is so much to do and explore in and around this city. My favorite thing to do is going to one of the local pubs or cafés and meeting up with my friends.
In my free time I love to ride my motorcycles to the hilly Eifel and enjoy traveling other countries on them.
As for sports, I love playing Volleyball and am part of one of Aachen's many sports clubs.

Three things make my soul rediculously happy: gardening, dancing and sport.
I love attempting to repot and grow new plants (my speciality are the South African succulent variety) while getting my feet and hands dirty in good old soil and enjoying some glorious sunshine. I am as about as far as you can be from a professional dancer, but love spending hours moving myself to music neverthelss - be it in my room, on a dance floor or in my head. My favourite way to deal with stress is to go for a long ride on my bicycle. If it’s not cycling, it’s Muay Thai, or trail running.
